Rex Keith Holstein, 39, of Mud River, passed away September 12, 2018.
Rex was a Stihl technician employed at Byrnside Hardware. He was a hard worker who was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Rex was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish Rex’s memories are his wife of 22 years, Crystal Holstein; two children, Dakota and Haylea of Mud River; his father, Rex (Sherri) Holstein of Ridgeview and his mother, Connie (Ronnie) Stollings of Lincoln County; his three sisters, Sabrina (Terry) Collins of Alkol, Angela (Donnie) Green of Chapmanville, and Tonia (Jason) Elkins of Sod; and one brother, Jeremiah Holstein of Ridgeview. Rex is also survived by six nephews, Cody Collins, Kaleb, Tyler and Brayden Green, Reece Elkins, and Hunter Holstein; seven nieces, Shawna, Tierra, and Tori Collins, Chelsey Green, Keylea and Zayla Elkins, and Kiyara Holstein, as well as numerous family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Roberts Cemetery on Mud River Road. Pastor Gary Berry and Pastor George Dolin will be officiating.
