Ricky Ray Roe

Ricky Ray Roe age 69, of Camp Creek, WV went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.

Ricky was born September 18, 1954 to the late Herman and Pearl Roe; and was also preceded in death by his first wife Sue Wallace Roe.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Roe; daughters, Andrea (Lee) Williamson of Hewett, WV, Natalie Roe (Bobby) of Leon, WV, Cindy (Mike) Lowery of Madison, OH and Debbie (Chris) Martin of Gordon, WV; siblings, Herman Roe Jr. (Charlotte) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ruby Smith (Ken) of Miami, FL, and Teddy Roe (Donna) of Gordon, WV.  He leaves behind seven precious grandchildren which he loved very much, Molly Williamson, Hunter Mangus, Coleton Mangus, Michael Lowery, Matthew Lowery, Emma Martin, and Blake Martin.

If you knew him you would know he was a true fisherman.  When he wasn’t on the river you could find him in his woodshop.  Ricky was one of a kind and will be missed by many.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 19 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Matt Johner officiating.  Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
