Rinda Ann Miller

Rinda Ann Miller, 71, of Madison, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Charleston General Hospital. 

She was born June 24, 1953, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Hubert Beaver, Jr. and Mable Ilene Dent Beaver. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Steven Miller, her brother, Rusty Edwin Beaver, and her sister, Connie Leah Parker. 

She was a retired Teacher and Bus Aid, and she served as pianist for Danville Baptist Church for several years. 

Survivors include: two daughters, Stephanie Miller of Charleston and Jennifer Miller (David) of Saint Albans; one son, Brandon Miller (Rachel and RaeAnna) of Danville; a sister, Deborah Sue Beaver of Hurricane; her grandson, Ethan Miller (Aralun) of Omar; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. 

Ann, as she was affectionately known, was a devoted wife, Mother, and grandmother. She loved Jesus, her dogs Jade and Scout, and feeding the birds and squirrels. And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention not only her love for cooking, but also how well she cooked. One cannot eat banana pudding or peach cobbler without longing for Ann’s version of both. Ann prayed fervently, laughed often, and made everyone feel welcome. She was loved by many people, friends, and family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with her sister-in-law, Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home.
