Robert "Bob" Elkins

Robert “Bob” Elkins of Wharton, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday June 26, 2013 after a short illness. He was the son of Jr. and Norine Hager of Alkol. His birthparents are Mary Osborne of Quinland and the late Phillip Elkins of Williams Mountain.

Bobby left behind his wife Mary Ann Elkins; daughters Heather and Cody Buckner with grandson Casen, Alyssa Linville and Matt Prichard and his baby girl Karley Bradley. He also left behind his loving sister Phylliss and Charles Bowman and sons Charles (Boog), Phillip and his son Tanner, and Micheal. His loving sister Rose and Jamie Tovar and sons Tony, Chris and Shawn. His loving sister Delci and Bill Gould. His loving sister Debbie and her children Jason, Josh, Alyssa and Hunter. His loving little sister Shelly and Brice Smith and their kids Karrah and Kade. He also left behind brother-in-law, Jerry Bradley; nephew, Hunter Bradley; and niece, Hayden Bradley. He was a teddy bear and will be missed by so many.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home Danville with Matthew Johner officiating. Burial will follow in Hager Cemetery Alkol. Friends may call from 6-9pm Friday at the funeral home.
