Robert Lee Farley

Robert Lee Farley Jr. 67 of Clothier WV went home to be with the Lord on June 23rd at Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long illness. Robert was a retired Truck Driver. Robert loved life, he loved going to many different churches, riding in the mountains and star gazing. Christmas was a favorite time for Robert as he became Santa to many children and adults, singing for the lord was his passion, he loved people it didn’t matter who you were or where you were from, he always had an amazing hug for you.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Marguerite Meade his father Gilbert Payne and stepmom Dora Bell Payne, sisters Nora Lee Miles, Rose Eddie Adam and Lanville Payne Brother Hubert Payne and grandkids Alexander Adkins.

Robert is served by his wife Clara Esther Pettry; children Michael Farley, Robert Lee Farley, Felicia Scalf, and Frank and Megan Brown; grandchildren Tiffany Davis, Laylen Hall, Brooklyn Fannin, Curtis Farley, Briana Lupson and Skyler Scalf; numerous great grandchildren; sisters Julia Gosik, Susan Stone, Rebertie Issacs, Fairy Bell Runyon; brothers Richie Cutcher, Gilbert Jr. Payne and Lonnie Payne. He loved all his nieces and nephews Robert had a few special friends Kim Kirk, Lydia Thibodaux, Mary Ann, Larry Gover and many more dear friends.

Robert will be missed by many but mostly by his puppy dog Babygirl Farley.

Memorial services will be held at Blair Church of God Danville WV on July 8th, 2024. Friends and family may attend the service at 4 o’clock, service will be held at 5 o’clock and dinner at 6 p.m. Pastor Paul Little and John Workman will be officiating and if anyone has something to say they are more than welcome to speak.
