Robert Wandell “Mert” Neace, 82, of Ranger, WV passed away Tuesday September 22, 2020 at his home. He was born August 11, 1938, a son of the late Lawrence and Doska Nelson Neace. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Roy Neace, Lonnie Neace, Jessie Neace, Bud Neace, James Ray Neace; sisters, Nora Lee Nelson, Rose Cyrus, Margaret Crum.
He is survived by one brother Carl (Bonnie) Neace of Ranger, WV; three sisters, Violet (Tom) Neace, Annabel (Taylor) Cyfers of Ranger, WV and Patty (Perry) Webb of Salt Rock, WV; a sister-in-law, Sally Neace and a host of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday September 25, 2020 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing.
