Roger Lee Thompson

Roger Lee Thompson, age 75, of Madison, WV passed away at home Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

He was born in Madison, WV and was a son of the late Walter and Emily Thompson. He was also preceded in death by brothers Tracy and Troy Thompson. 

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a purple heart recipient in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his daughters, Tina Hughes of Madison, WV and Brandi Moore of Fort Mill, SC.  Roger had four grandchildren and two great-grandsons; sisters, Lillian Miller and Shirley Inman of Madison, WV; brothers, Raymond Thompson of Danville, WV and Jerry Thompson of TN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. 

As per his wishes his remains were cremated and his ashes will be interned in Clothier, WV along with a Celebration of life at a later date.
