Ronald Earl Backus, 54, of Greenview, WV was born August 5, 1963 and passed away peacefully Thursday, July 19, 2018 at his home with his sister Retha by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Magalene Backus; and his brothers, Ricky and Chris Backus.
He is survived by his sisters, Retha Backus (CB Bella) of Blair, WV and Trena Epling (Scott) of South Madison, WV; his care provider friend and sissie, Glenna and her husband (his buddy) Rick McWain; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family; and a special friend, Willie Felty.
Service will be 2 pm, Sunday, July 22 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Clifford Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
