Ronald “Buck” Baisden, 74, of Logan, WV, departed this life on October 7, 2021 at HillCrest Nursing Home.
He was born October 9, 1946 in Harts, WV, the son of the late Greenway and Dorothy Baisden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Lou Baisden; three brothers George, Robert, and John Baisden; and two sisters Bunia Adams and Mabel Smith.
Buck was a retired owner of Members Only. Over the years he worked at General Motors and was a coal miner. He greatly enjoyed sitting on his front porch drinking coffee. He tremendously loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. He loved spending time with his family and especially those grand babies. He was loved by so many and he never met a stranger. He was the jack of all trades.
Buck is survived by his one son Ronald Shayne (Priscilla) Baisden of Henlawson, WV; one daughter Shannon (Kenny) Fairbanks of Leetonia, Ohio; grandchildren: Sydney Fairbanks, Taylor Fairbanks, Kayla (Shane) Hager, Trevor (Jennifer) Maynard, and Harlee Baisden; great grandchildren: Landon Hager, Harper Hager, Aubree Maynard, Brodey Maynard.
Other Surviving siblings include: Greenway (Mavis) Baisden Jr, Gladys Justice, Dorothy Marcum, Betty Collier, Anna Jo Killen, Anna Ruth (Frank) Owens.
Services will be held at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV at 2 p.m. on October 13, 2021 with Paul Eldridge officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
