Rosa Lea Myers

Rosa Lea Myers, 74, of Charleston, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Zella Mitchell; two sisters; five brothers; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Myers Sr. Minister; sisters, Janet (Ronnie) Brown of Tennessee and Tish Ann Dickerson of Madison, WV; children, Charles (Drema Kay) Myers, Renee (Kenny) Banks, Starla Powell (Buck McBride) Pastor Lawrence Jr. (Brenda) Myers and Steven Myers (Tabitha Woodrum); 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Rosa Lea was a faithful member of New Testament Community church.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, November 16 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor John Henderson and assistant Pastor Lawrence Myers Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.
Visitation one hour prior to the service.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed, with mask and social distancing encouraged.
