Russell Elswick, 45, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away January 11, 2014 after a short illness.
Russell was born August 15, 1968 in Madison, WV to Paul and Dreama (Cook) Elswick. He graduated from Van High School. He made his home in Murfreesboro for the past eight years working as a Plant Manager for Southland Brick.
Russell was preceded in death by his father, Paul; maternal grandfather, Bethel Cook; paternal grandparents, Russell and Ruth Elswick; and sister, Stacy.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Dreama Miller; sons, Brandon and Josh (Kelly) and granddaughter, Scarlett; sisters, Sherry (Randy) Buckner, Cheri O’Donnell and Cathy Eagle; brother, Gregg (Melissa) Miller; maternal grandmother, Novillis Cook; nephew, Cole Buckner; niece, Randi Lynn Buckner; very special friend, Lynnette McGregor; faithful dog, Sammy; and a host of good friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Gospel Center Tabernacle, West Madison with the Rev. Walter Gore officiating.
