Sandra Dinah Cook

Sandra Dinah Cook, 72, of Danville, WV passed away on October 10, 2024.

Sandra dedicated 30 years to working as a correctional officer. She attended Sharples High School and still enjoyed going to class reunions. She loved spending time with her two grandchildren and loved watching cop shows.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Cook; parents, Venus and Virginia (Peggy) Thompson; brother, Steve Thompson; and sister, Ginger Fenwick.

Left to cherish Sandra’s memory is her son, Dusty Cook, of Danville, WV; brother, Tony Thompson, of Hurricane, WV; and grandchildren, Piper and Sam Cook. 

A graveside service will be held in the mausoleum at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Memory Gardens in Madison, WV, with Diann Kish officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
