Sandra Denise Sharp

Sandra Denise Sharp, 61, of Peytona, WV, passed away October 17, 2024.

Sandy loved her job as a veterinarian technician. She dedicated many years to Dr. Music and Madison Animal Hospital, where she was an advocate for animal rights and rescue. Sandy was very kind and humble. She enjoyed the simple things and loved her life with her husband, Joseph and her son, Virgil. To know Sandy was to love Sandy.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sharp; son, Virgil Sharp; father, Brady Messer; brother, Jeffrey Messer; and step-father, Carlean Stone.

Left to cherish Sandra’s memory is her mother, Jessie Stone; brothers, Michael Messer and Gregory Messer of Hernshaw, WV; sisters, Peggy (Thomas) Imler of Ashford, WV, Debbie (Joe) Workman of West Hamlin, WV, and Patty (Tony) Miller of Seth, WV; friend, James Garrettson. Sandra is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation at Handley Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00pm.
