Sandra “Kay” Webb, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, went home to be with the Lord on February 27th, 2024 in Ranger, West Virginia at the age of 80. She was born on September 11th, 1943 in Gill, West Virginia. Kay was raised in Hamilton Creek, WV by her loving Aunt Mae and Uncle Jinks Adkins. Whom she cherished and adored.
Kay’s life was a testament to love and compassion. Her warm smile could light up any room and her kind heart touched the lives of everyone she met. Kay had an unwavering love for her family and friends; anyone who stepped foot into her home was greeted with love. She was a member of Ranger Church of Christ, and loved reading her Bible. Kay loved taking trips, Days of our Lives and shopping for shoes. She was an excellent cook and used this gift to bless others.
Kay was proceeded in death by her parents Era Bell and Ira Collins, loving sister Anita Sue Webb(Gary), and brother Roger Collins.
She leaves behind a loving husband of 63 years, Larry O’Dell Webb. Three children Michael (Dawn) Webb, Karen Webb, and Amanda (John) Sova. Grandchildren Ashley, Shane, Shannon, Brayden, and William. Great grand children Briana, Kagen, and Aubrielle. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Special thanks to Huntington Hospice House for their services and care during a difficult time. Services for Kay will be held on Sunday March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Page Freeman, Boone Lambert, and Bethel Purkey officiating.
Pallbearers are grandsons/ family.
