Scestell Toppins

Scestell Toppins, Jr., 69, of West Hamlin, WV died June 5, 2015. He was born September 24, 1945 in Shamrock, WV, a son of the late Scestell Toppins Sr. and Luraine Spry Toppins. He is also preceded in death by two sons, Steven Toppins and Patrick Allen Toppins; brothers, Walter, Ronsford and Stanford Toppins; and a sister, Marlene Watts.

He is survived by a son Leland Toppins; daughters, Donna Miller, Arlene Adams, Dreama Miller; brothers, Hansford Toppins, Landon Toppins, and Barry Toppins; sisters Darlene Frye, Shirlene Frazier, grandchildren, Andrea Toppins, BreAnna Toppins, Brittany Elkins, Steven Nelson, Regina Dawn Brumfield, Patience Brumfield, Jimmy Adams, Alex Toppins and Tracy Toppins; his ex-wife Regina Brumfield and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday June 8, 2015 at Sheltering Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Adkins-Hager Cemetery, Ten Mile, Branchland. A visitation will be after 6pm Sunday at the church. McGhee-Handley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
