Sears Miller, 64, of Sod passed away January 12, 2016 at his home.
He was born June 25, 1951 and was a son of the late Calvert and Ella Williams Miller.
He was a retired coal miner with 42 years of service. He loved to watch football.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue Elswick Miller; two sons, Jonathan Lee Miller of Clothier and Joshua Todd Miller of Sod; grandchildren, Jordan, Jaydon and Jonna; brother, Eddie Miller of Summersville; and two sisters, Mary Miller of Danville and Bea Vanhoose of Bandytown.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 15 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Mid-Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
