Sharon Lee Neitling Dickens, 70, of Stonewood, WV died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Heritage Nursing Facility in Bridgeport, WV surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jethro C. Dickens of Foster; her daughter, Charlene M. Vandelinde of Foster; and her parents, Irving and Gertrude Neitling of Toledo, Ohio.
She is survived by daughter, Debra Dickens Southall and her husband Richard of Stonewood, WV, son, Charles Dickens and Tiffany Galloway of Foster, WV and daughter, Angelique Vandelinde of Jacksonville, Florida; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Sharon was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She and her husband Jethro were former owners of Foster Exxon. Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother who liked to cook, travel, play bingo and spend time with family and friends. She was also an avid fan of Elvis Presley and his music.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Billy Silva officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
