Sharon Jo Smith (Drennen) of Bob White passed away suddenly on Monday, August 26, 2019.
Born October 14, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Vernon Drennen.
Sharon spent many years working at the Boone County Court House and at her home as a beautician. Lately however, you could find her in the bleachers cheering on her granddaughter.
Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Drennen of Charleston; and sister, Priscilla Mullins of Van.
She is survived by daughters, Amber Jo Bailey of Van and Priscilla Nicole Castle of Bob White. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jordan Paulson of Madison, Emma Wilcox of Bob White, Bryce Bailey and Nicholas Bailey of Salt Rock; Emma’s father, Joseph Wilcox of Dunbar; and Emma’s grandmother, Karen Wilcox of Dunbar; and several longtime family friends who share in the loss as well.
A short service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Madison, WV with Pastor David Cook officiating.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
