Shelia Jean Blevins

Shelia Jean Blevins, 71, of Van, WV Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend sadly left this world to be with the Lord on March 10, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

She was born October 5, 1952 in Montgomery, WV the daughter of F.L. Johnson and Lois Jackson. She attended Pleasant View Baptist Church, Elizabeth, WV. By the grace of God, she was able to spend her last months in her “happy place” our Deer Camp in Wirt county with her loving husband, Robbie. 

She was preceded in death by father, Frank “F.L.” Johnson (Arlene) of Beckley and mother Lois Eloise Jackson (Gene) of Alum Creek. 

Shelia is survived by her husband and love of her life Robbie Blevins of Van, WV; her daughter, Missi Blevins of Danville; son, Jason (Jennifer) Blevins of Jeffrey; Sister, Cheryl (Dwayne) Adkins of Alum Creek; half-sister, Donna Thompson of Beckley; half-brother, Michael Johnson of Beckley; grandchildren Cody Blevins of Jeffrey; Tanner (Taylor) Blake of Madison; Owen (Hannah) Blevins of Jeffrey; Tabitha Blake of Madison; great grandchildren, Mason Blevins, Bentley Hayes, Paxton Blevins, and Brantley Blake; as well as lifelong best friend Emma Jane Jarrell and special friend, Anthony Carrico. 

Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Handley funeral home Danville.

And to honor Shelia’s request it is casual dress no black please.
