Shirley Marie Broom

Shirley Marie Price-Broom, 74 of White Sulphur Springs, WV formerly of Madison, WV July 26, 2023 passed away after a long illness. Shirley graduated from Van High School with the class of 1968 and became a Librarian at Barrett-Wharton Library for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents John Rosco Price and Audrey Gay Perry Price and siblings Boris, Curtis, John R, Connie and Ferris Price, Kathy Belcher, Audrey Boggs, Iris Price and Betty Puckett.

She is survived by her husband; Danny Broom, and daughters Debbie Hubbard and son-in-law Perry, Beckee Vint, Barrett, WV and Jenny Rebecca Sigmon and Glen Sigmon son-in-law. Survived by brother; Charlie Price and sister Darlene Bailey of Wharton, WV, grandchildren Rebecca Hubbard Morris (Zack), Emily Hubbard, McKenzie Weaver (Terry), great grandchildren; Amelia Morris, Skylin Hubbard, Lincoln, Lucas Morris and Riggs Weaver. A host of nieces, nephews and a very special niece Jenni Bunting Payne.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Tony Vance officiating. Burial will be in Jasper Workman Cemetery, Bald Knob, WV.
