Shirley Ruthell Hill

Shirley R. Hill 88 of Julian, WV passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018, peacefully at home after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hill and her parents Jennie and Albert Shaffer.
She worked for the postal service, and was a member of Olive Baptist Church, at Julian WV.
Shirley is survived by her daughter and son in law; Patricia and Sharell Clark of Foster, a son; Phillip Hill of Julian, four grandchildren; Missy Carpenter, Cheryl Blackburn, Jack Clark and Brandi Hill, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews along with many friends and loved ones.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Rev. Ray Williams and Rev. Charles (Chuck) Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery, Julian.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
