Stacey Jo Barker, 49, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 after a long illness.
She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 11, 1966, but was a lifelong resident of Foster, WV.
Stacey was a 1984 graduate of Scott High School and a graduate of WV Southern Community College with an Associate degree in Secretarial Accounting. She was formerly employed by West Virginia Worker’s Compensation.
Stacey is survived by her daughter, Hannah Bennett of Huntington, WV; her parents, Weldon and Lyda Barker of Foster; sisters, Kara Price (Bret Price) of Morgantown, WV and Marla Brown (Jeremy Brown) of New Martinsville, WV; nephews, Shane and Cory Price of Morgantown; and Kacie and Emma Brown of New Martinsville; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor David Cook officiating. Stacey will be buried among family at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery in Bandytown, WV.
