Steve Edgar Elkins, 68, of Hewett, WV departed this life on December 13, 2020.
He was born August 27, 1952 and was a son of the late Elvin and Estelle Elkins of Hewett. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Eyvonne Jeffrey Elkins; his grandson, Johnny Leroy Elkins; and his brother, Elvin Jr. Elkins.
Survivors include sisters, Letha Dent and Annabelle Elkins; sisters in law, Vivian Elkins and Jackie Dobbins; five sons, Stevie and Leeann, Joey and April, David and Kendra, Adam and Rosalynn, and Arron; daughter, Crystal Wolfe; grandkids are Jamie, Joseph, Jaxon, Cheyenne, Dominick, Riley, Austin, Makayla, Breanna, Kirstin, and Eric; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 17 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Clinton Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens on Low Gap.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. until service time.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed, with mask and social distancing encouraged.
