Steve Darnell Wooten, age 62 of Forest City, North Carolina, died Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Hospice House in Forest City.
Steve was born in Logan, West Virginia on April 3, 1959, and was a son of the late Virgil and Mary Burgess Wooten. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Dickman; a grandson, Breyer Dickman; three sisters, Pricilla Parsley, Donna Hanshaw, and Carmella Adkins;and a brother, Virgil (Skip) Wooten. There are also a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 22 at 2:00 PM at Boone Memorial Park.
