Steve Dwayne Young

Steve Dwayne Young 56 of Gordon, WV passed away May 11, 2018, at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his dad; Jerry and Peggy Young of Mt. Pleasant, TX., niece; Lindsay Marie Lavender of Slidell, TX, grandmother; Bessie Huey of TX and stepsister; Dawn of Texas.
He is survived by his wife; Amy Young of Gordon, Mom and Dad Gene and Martha Rogers of Little Field, Texas, four children; Chris & Tosha Wilder of Madison, Kristi and Dustin Truxhall of Julian, Sabrina and Shawn Flowers of Sod and Steven and Caitlyn Young of Madison, 14 grandchildren; Destiny, Christian, Trista, Lexi, Dustin,Jr., Lex, Caden, Madisyn, Liam, Shawn-David, Morgan, Kylie, Aubree, Rae-Rae, siblings, Ronnie and family of Littlefield, TX, Reta and family of Tupelo, MS, Rusty & family of Ponder, TX, mother in law, Linda Michonski of Turtle Creek, father in law; Ray Lovejoy of Griffithsville, WV, two stepsisters, Pam & Denise of Texas, brothers in law, Jammie and family of Sumerco, WV and Allen and family of Chapmanville. He was also survived by the Danville Hawks (formerly known as Panthers, family and several friends and other family including several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with John Workman officiating. Burial will follow Saturday, in Texas at a later date.
