Steven Leon Morrison

Steven Morrison, 65, of Wharton, WV departed this life on March 14, 2024.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything else that involved the outdoors.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Gwendolyn Morrison; and brothers James and Stanley “Butch” Morrison.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his sister, Donna (Charles) Blankenship; sister-in-law, Cathy Morrison; children, Ronnie, and Matt (Dawn), and Taylor (John) Morrison, and Travis and Trevor (Kristi) Vance; grandchildren, Tony, Adalynn, Trinity, and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

As his wishes he will be cremated and the family will have a celebration of life service at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Mark White, Robert Rash, and Patrick Frame of the Wharton-Barrett Fire Department, Boone County EMS, the staff at Boone Memorial Hospital and close friend Nancy Sigmon.

Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
