Sue Ann Davis

Sue Ann Davis of Madison, WV departed this life on March 28, 2024.  

Suzy was an educator for the Boone County Board of Education, with a career spanning four decades.  She had an amazing zest for life!  She loved the mountains, the great outdoors, travel, food, live music, but mostly her friends and family.  Her passion for being a mother and a caretaker was unmatched.  
 

Suzy was preceded in death by her husband Jeffery Davis.  

Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Dewell (Brenda) White Jr and James White; two daughters, Maria (Aaron) Hatfield and Sara (Eric) Lloyd; one son, Benjamin Davis and his partner Amanda Hall; five grandchildren, Danielle (Caleb) Knight, Dawna (Austin) Workman, Nicholas Halley (and his partner Madison Fortney), Henry Lloyd, and Poppy Hatfield; and two great-grandchildren, Dixie and Daisy Workman.   

Services will be held at the Madison Methodist Church, Thursday April 4th at 6pm, friends may come to visit an hour early.  There will be a "celebration of life" reception following at the Magnolia House on Park Avenue in Danville, WV.
