Tammera Dianne Hager

Tammera Dianne Hager, 66, of Danville, WV passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024. 

She was born on December 15, 1957 to the late Max and Pat Hager. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Joey Hager and Steve Hager; and son David “Nick” Hager.

She was a member of Danville Church of Christ. After high school, she worked for the sheriff’s office at the courthouse. In 1980, she married the love of her life, and they still had a bond that is unbroken. Tammy loved to watch her birds and knew every one of them. She had an infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She thought the best of everyone and was always there when family or friends needed her.

She is survived by her husband, David Hager; daughter, Tarah (Jon Courts) of Milton, WV; and two brothers, Timmy M. (Betsy) Hager of Six Mile, WV and David P. (Nancy) Hager of Low Gap, WV.

Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, October 21 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Richard Runyan officiating. Burial will follow in Danville, Memorial Park, Danville, WV.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
