Teresa Gail Sands

Teresa Gail (Ferrell) Sands, 60, of Foster, WV passed away February 1, 2024. 

She was born February 4, 1963 in Madison, WV to the late Coralee (Peters) Ferrell and Elwood Ferrell. On November 9, she married Ronald Sands. Teresa graduated from Van High School. Her hobbies included gaming, camping, and 4-Wheeling. She had three dogs, Misty, Lee Lee, and Gracie, that she loved very much. She worked for many years at Dairy Queen and Boone County Schools as a custodian. She was a member of Danville Church of Christ.
 

Teresa is survived by her brother Timmy Ferrell and his wife Renee; her sisters-in-law Debbie (Ferrell) and Sandra (Sands) Bartley; mother-in-law Audrey Sands; nephews Allen Bartley, Terry Bartley, Chris Cook, and Cruz Oquendo; nieces Betty (Bartley) Oquendo, Melanie Ferrell, Melinda (Ferrell) Cook, and Amanda Ferrell; great nieces and nephews Haleigh, Katelyn, Stefan, Olivia, Jeremiah, Kelly, and Nikki. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Coralee and Elwood Ferell; her husband Ronald Lee Sands; and her brother Rodney Ferrell.
 
 Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 6 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Richard Runyon and Allen Barker officiating.  Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 5 at the funeral home.
