Terry Lee Wilson “Wildeye”, 53, of Foster, WV went home to be with the Lord after a two year battle with lung cancer.
Terry was raised up Point Lick Road at Campbells Creek. He was a truck driver for Estes of North Charleston for nine years, truck driver for Conway of Belle for eight years and driller for Black Castle Mines, Alpha Resources for three years. He was the hardest working man and prided himself in the job that he done.
He was preceded in death by mother, Drema Wilson; grandmother, Beulah Ellis; and nephew, Bobby Joe Hanson.
Terry leaves behind his best friend and wife of 24 years, Nedra “Beth” Nichols Wilson; sons, Dalton Lee Wilson and Garrett Scott Wilson still at home; father, Paul Wilson of Campbells Creek; brothers, Kevin (Jeannie) Wilson of Campbells Creek and Tim (Michelle) Wilson of Sissonville; sisters, Sherry (Joe) Hanson of Charleston, Patty (Danny) Wilson Jones of Campbells Creek, Samantha (Steve) Mullins of South Charleston; father and mother-in-law that loved him like a son, George Nichols Jr. and Donna of Rainelle formerly of Witcher Creek; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Linda) Nichols of Salisbury, NC, Timmy (Reba) Nichols of North Charleston, Julie (Leon) Short of Witcher Creek, Jewell (Jimmy) Walls of Witcher, Paul (Ricci) Nichols of Apex, NC and Georgie Nichols Mullins of Witcher. Host of very special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; friends from Conway and Black Castle mines that he loved like a brother; old friends from his younger days as Wildeye that he never forgot and always loved - he loved so many and had so many dear friends that we will never forget; and his constant furry companion, his dog, Chloe.
The family wants to thank Dr. Westfall and nurse Denise, David Lee Cancer Center, Dr. Frame and nurse Karen. Hospice nurses, Heather, Sally and Libby. The Hubbard House brought us comfort and angels surround that home at all times. Will never forget the love we felt and the kindness you all showed.
You will never be forgotten Terry Lee Wilson, I love you, I love you, I love you till the end of time. Your wife Beth, sons, Dalton and Garrett.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Harley Egnor officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
