Thomas Patrick Murphy 86, of Branchland, WV passed away at home on October 11, 2017.
He was born February 17, 1931 a son of the late Thomas and Missouri Todd Murphy. He was a retired dock hand in the freight industry.
He is survived by his wife Maxine Arnold Murphy; children, Thomas Patrick, Billy Joe, Toney Bonita, Randy Allen, and Larry Wayne; his brothers and sisters, Ann, William, Myrtle, Alice, Enda, Glorda, Thomas, Frank, Opal, Junior, Gladys, and Ruby; grandchildren, Patti, Brian, Aaron, Scott, Terri, Lynn, Misty, Rebecca, and Devin; step children, Lawrence and Josephine Arnold, Sylvia Williams, Rebecca Neace, Angela Carpenter, Deloris Scites, Roger Scites, and Ryan Scites; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday October 14, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Bob Watts and Eugene Arnold officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Saturday. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday October 16, 2017 at Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV.
