Timothy "Timmy" Felty

Timothy “Timmy” Felty, 51, of Danville, WV went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 11, 1964 to Dorothy and the late Howard Felty of Danville.

Timmy loved making people laugh and having fun with his friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Whitney (Alex) Acosta Flores of North Carolina; four grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Welch of Six Mile; sisters, Jean (Larry) of Sycamore, Sue (Danny) Moore of Madison, Pat (Kenvil) Bias of Six Mile, Kista (Richard) of Six Mile and Rose Ellis of Low Gap; brothers, Roger (Polly) Stover of Lewisburg, Gary Felty of Six Mile, Roy (Lora) Felty of Cabin Creek; step-sisters, Tish Dickens of Low Gap, Ruth (Tim) Drake of Madison, Bernice of Low Gap, Phyllis (Mike) Whiten of Drawdy, Vicky (David) Hill of Big Ugly; step-brother, Ricky Welch of Low Gap; and his loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

Timmy was preceded in death by his father Howard Felty; step-father Crammer “Hoover” Welch; half-brother Amos Ray Felty; and step-brother Crammer “Buster” Welch.

The family would like to thank the staff at Boone Memorial Hospital and the close friends that have helped during this trying time.

Service will be 7 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Gary Tomblin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
