Timothy Leigh Justice, age 64, departed this life on Tuesday morning, December 12, 2017 at his home in Madison.
He was born August 13, 1953 and was a son of the late James E. Justice and June Hammond Justice.
He was a graduate of Big Creek High School in 1971. He loved to play golf, fish and hunt and also coached little league baseball while he lived in Man, WV. He also loved to talk and never met a stranger and loved football and especially the WV Mountaineers. Tim worked 41 years in the Coal Industry in various coal mines in Southern WV that included Rockhouse Creek as well as Coal River Mining. He was a retired Federal Coal Mine Inspector where he served as a Ventilation Specialist and also participated in Mine Rescue Contests. He was a member of the Gospel Center Tabernacle in West Madison, WV.
He is survived by his mother, June Justice of Virginia; his wife, Deborah Gore Justice of Madison; children, James and Misty Adkins Justice of South Carolina, Lori Justice Bernhart and Brendan of Virginia, his youngest son, Kevin Justice and Emily Jacobs of South Carolina and his step-daughter, Kristen Bennett of Danville, WV. He was blessed with several grandchildren whom he love with all his heart, Halie Justice Bennett and Justin, Corey Justice, Brooke Bernhart and Andrew Bernhart, plus adopted grandchildren, Chloe Rowe and David Rowe. He is also survived by siblings, Mark and Brenda Justice of Pineville, Stephanie Berry and Steve Berry of Virginia and Kim and Alvin Brewster of Virginia; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; plus numerous friends.
Tim will be cremated as per his wishes and a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 6 at the Gospel Center Tabernacle in West Madison, WV.
