Tony Lee Linsky, 87, of Peytona went to meet Jesus March 6, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bertha Linsky; brother, Pete Linsky; sister, Anna Linsky; and son, Micheal Linsky.
He was a 44 year retiree Locomotive Engineer of CSX Railroad and was a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was a member of Masonic Order and Scottish Rite and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Costella; daughter Pam and son Bob Mullett; son, Timothy Lee Linsky and fiance’ Kim Bess; daughter-in-law, Sandy Linsky; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his church family at Atha Chapel.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Jeff Howerton, Tim Linsky and Bob Mullett officiating. Burial will follow in Drawdy Cemetery, Drawdy with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, West Virginia.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
