Tracy Elizabeth Miller, 54, of Madison, WV, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 19, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born on January 5, 1970, she was the beloved daughter of Ray and Mary Ball and was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Vaughn Ball.
Tracy lived her life like the wind in her hair—full of freedom, laughter, and an unrelenting love for her family and friends. She was a lifelong resident of Madison, WV, and a proud graduate of Scott High School’s Class of 1988.
In 1989, Tracy married high school sweetheart and the great love of her life, Estil "Bubba" Miller. For 35 beautiful years, their bond was an unshakable one, rooted in adventure and bound by love. They shared countless adventures; none more precious than those made while riding their Harley, as Tracy affectionately referred to as being “on 2s” with her love, where she felt most alive and at peace, embracing the open road with the wind in her face and Bubba by her side. Her adventurous spirit was boundless, but her love for her family was even greater. Together they built a beautiful life and raised two children: their daughter Shadora, who shares her mother’s strong-willed, feisty spirit and love for animals; and son, Justin, her “baby boy,” who embodies her vivacious personality and gentle and loving nature.
Tracy’s vibrant personality lit up every room she entered. A friend to all and a stranger to none, Tracy’s heart was a wellspring of kindness. She was unapologetically loud, proudly outspoken, and fiercely loyal—a true "Momma Bear" whose love for her children knew no bounds. Second only to her children, she had a deep affection for animals, especially her sweet Bella, and beloved Trixie, who is gone but never forgotten. Tracy loved all things pink, makeup, tattoos, and perfume. Always donning a beautiful piece of jewelry from her husband or son, she loved to sparkle and shine. Whether online or in-store, there was no better shopping buddy than Tracy. Forever dressed for any occasion, her rhinestone embellished jeans from Buckle complimented her Harley attire perfectly. She looked forward to fall each year, Starbucks, and all things pumpkin. She loved Pigeon Forge, camping, and traveling. Her vibrant energy was the life of every gathering, where she often enjoyed dessert before dinner. A camera always in hand, no one could “Snap” quite like Tracy, capturing all of life’s precious moments that will now forever linger as cherished, precious memories. Aunt Tracy was the ultimate “hype” woman, and the ever-present cheerleader to her beloved nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Bubba Miller; daughter, Shadora (Theresa) Miller; son, Justin (Baylee) Miller; in-laws Doug (Charlotte) Miller; sisters Sherry (Donald) Kerns; and Debbie Miller (Gary Shirkey) all of Madison, WV, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and precious friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 24, 2024, with service to follow at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV, with Reverend Ralph “Donald” Kerns, officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memory Gardens, Madison, WV. Pallbearers will be Billy Ball, Rick Kinser, Scotty Miller, Gary “Bub” Ball II, Schaefer Ball, Gunner Prince, and Liam Kinser.
