Vera Renee Ball

Vera Renee Ball passed away at the age of 68 years old on Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Charleston.  She was the granddaughter of the late Roy and Mellie Baisden and the daughter of the late Douglas Slone and Evangeline Baisden.    

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Larry Ball and siblings, Douglas Baisden, Roy L Baisden, Blemia Bennett, Amorie Thompson and Brenda Wood.

She enjoyed playing Bingo and talking with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Jimmy Baisden, grandchildren; Christina Paul, Kristen Baisden, Victoria Donohue and Austin Baisden, brothers; William “Althea” Baisden, Rick Slone and Barry Slone, sisters; Janet Epling and Diana Richards.  6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV.  Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.   Interment will be at Powell Cemetery in Greenview, WV.
