Vernie Berry, 103, of Danville, WV passed away February 16, 2016 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Danville. She was born June 16, 1912 in Madison and was a daughter of the late Calvary and Martha Richmond Pauley.
She is survived by daughters, Evelyn Berry of Logan and Wilma Rogers of Madison; granddaughter, Joanna Rogers of Madison; and great granddaughters, Sydney Cook of Morgantown and Jonc Atkinson of Madison.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 19 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Luke Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Pauley Cemetery, Big Branch, Greenview.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
