Vernon "Pud" Dolin
October 2, 1929 — March 8, 2017
Vernon “Pud” Dolin, 87 of Tomahawk, KY exchanged worlds Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Son of Noah and Alice Halstead Dolin, he is survived by his wife of 68 years, Arcie Doris Martin Dolin and one brother, Lawrence Dolin of Foster WV.
He was a long-time preacher of the Gospel and faithful member of the Church of Christ at Rockcastle. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV where he worked in Reduction as an Instrument Mechanic. He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Timothy Alan.
Survivors include; one son, Michael and wife Audrey; granddaughter, Amy and husband Aaron; grandson, Brandon and wife Darlene; five great grandchildren; and three great- great grandchildren all of Bluefield, VA.; one daughter, Melinda “Sissy” Dolin Goble and husband William Ray of Tomahawk; granddaughter, Amanda Goble Horn and husband Phillip; four great grandchildren of London, KY; granddaughter, Rebecca Goble Schram and husband Terry of Morehead, KY; grandson Andrew William and wife Ashley of Louisa, KY.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Nathanael Dolin officiating. Burial will follow in Dolin Cemetery, Rock Creek, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
