Vicki Lynn Bias, age 64, of Alkol, WV passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1959, to the late Phillip Wayne Dickerson and Charlotte Ann Curd.
Vicki was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her greatest joys of life were family, traveling, exploring, gardening, cooking, and horses. As time passed in her fight of cancer for five years, her time was spent with her devoted husband and family. Vicki could cook up a meal for an army in less time than it would take most for a family of four. She could bring a dead plant back to life in a matter of no time at all. She loved family functions, and her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren were the sparkle in her eyes. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father Phillip Wayne Dickerson; brother Phillip Wayne Dickerson Jr.; her dad Lonnie Curd; her in-laws Henry and Zelda Bias; and many other family members.
Left to cherish Vicki’s memories is her devoted an loving husband Joseph Lee Bias of 38 years of marriage and 42 years of love; her daughters Lisa Ann (Chris) Cook and Wendy Faye Bias (Matt); grandchildren, Cody Allen (Shawndala) Smith, Karla Ann (Travis) Smith, Cassy Jo (Jesse) Smith, Dustin Lee Mullins, Damian E. and Dylan Gage Bias all of West Virginia; eight great grandchildren, Braxton, Zuri, Juniper, Kane, Ember, Kennedy, Wrenley, and Lilith; siblings, Pamela (Doug) coon, Stephanie (Tom) Shinn, Thomas (Ginny) Dickerson, and Tina (Paul) curd all of Indiana. We will all love and miss you.
As Vicki’s wishes, she did not want tears of pain and sorrows. She wants not to have a funeral service. We are thankful for Handley Funeral Home for their services.
