Vicki Elaine Cottrell

Vicki Elaine Cottrell, 60, of Madison, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2014.
She was a teacher at Madison Middle School where she was also an advisor for Youth Commission International (YCI). She was also a member of Madison United Methodist Church where she led the Cross Trainers youth group.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Cottrell of Madison; children, Aharon Davis and wife Sara of Hurricane, WV, Courtney Green and husband Matthew of Madison, WV and Daniel Cottrell and wife Markisha of Madison, WV; grandchildren, Natalie and Molly Jo Green, Brianna and Colton Davis and Clayton Cottrell; and the Cottrell Cartel.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Betty and Edward McComas; and father, Herbert Pete Jordan.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the many lives she touched.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Jerry Bias officiating. A reception will follow at Madison United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the funeral home.
