Vickie Ann Robinette, 60, of Foster, WV passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Duke University Durham, NC after an extended illness.
Her greatest loves were her family, her church family at the Rock Creek Church of Christ, going to the beach and spending time with friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 35 years, Ronald Dale Robinette Sr.; her father, Dana Tawney; and her brother, Richard Darrell Tawney Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Tawney of Foster, WV; brothers, Kevin Tawney of St. Mary’s, WV and Jonathan Tawney of Prenter, WV; sisters, Joyce Smith of Foster, WV and Rose Collins of Danville, WV; children, Ronald Dale Robinette Jr. of Foster, WV, Dana Joellen Robinette of LaGrange, KY and Jimmy Robinette of Foster, WV; grandchildren, Paeton Robinette, Ronald Robinette III (Trey), Allydia Robinette, Olivia, and Colby; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 8 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Tawney – Cabell Cemetery, Foster, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
