Violet Marie Adkins, 78, of Branchland, WV died Sunday November 20, 2016.
She was born November 5, 1938 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late John Henry and Matilda Jane Davis Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Odell Adkins and two sons, Howard Lee Adkins and Charles Perry Adkins.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Jeffrey) Prince of Huntington, Brian (Tammy) Adkins of Hamlin, Nina (John) Chandler of Yawkey and Blue Adkins of Huntington; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin. The burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery, Hamlin.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Tuesday at the funeral home.
