Violet Rose Smith
August 17, 1932 — March 30, 2017
Violet Rose (Bias) Smith, 84 of West Hamlin WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30 2017.
Celebration of Life funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8th at McGhee & Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin WV. The burial will follow at the Bell Ross Cemetery on Long Branch Road.
Violet was born August 17, 1932 to the late Willy & Bertha (Ross) Bias of Long Branch Rd. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. Violet was a good friend to so many and treasured her friends in return. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the Fall Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three children Tim Smith of West Hamlin, Roger Scott of League City TX and daughter Sandee Smith Thomas of Monroe NC. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Violet was loved by all and will be truly missed…..
