Virgina Ruth Perdue

Virginia Ruth Perdue, 77, of Seth, West Virginia was born July 21, 1935 and went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2013 at home after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joseph Hollie Perdue whom she married on January 1, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Eliza Booth Kinder and Ervin Booth of Lincoln County; sisters, Dona Baisden, Nora Hager, Allie Adkins, Mabel Rowe, Garnett Estep, Imogene Linville and Junainta Lovejoy; brothers, Egbert Vannatter , Joe Vannatter , Walter Vannatter and Earl Lovejoy.
She was a long time member of Seth Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Lee Brown of Newark,Ohio, Sharon Whitten of Seth WV, Bruce Brown of Charleston, WV, Pamela Hoops of Seth, Shannon Perdue also of Seth and Veronica Ethridge of Georgetown, SC ; step-son Milton Lahr of Racine, WV; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; and many friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Madison Funeral Home, Madison. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
