Wavie (Miller) Harper
July 23, 1920 — July 3, 2015
Wavie (Miller) Harper of Madison, WV formerly of Twilight, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Friday, July 3, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care. She fought a good fight, kept her faith, and was loved by many.
Wavie was preceded in death by her parents Kylie and Bertha Miller, husband Therman Harper, and grandson Edward.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Ina (Vince) and Brenda (Frank) of Conway, AR, a son; Wendell (Marie) of Van, WV, seven grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, sister; Tressa Ferrell of Danville and a very special sister in law Ardala Miller of Madison.
Wavie was a Christian and a member of Star of Bethlehem FWB Church at Twilight, WV.
The family would like to express our deepest thanks to the wonderful and loving staff of Hillcrest who treated her great.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Steve Burns and Rev. John Frame officiating. Burial will follow in Mid Ferrell Cemetery at Bandytown, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
