Wilburn William “Bill” Pridemore, 83, of Uneeda, WV passed away December 12, 2021.
He was born May 1, 1938 and was a son of the late Henry and Orpha Vance Pridemore. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son James "Jimmy" Pridemore. He was also preceded in death by step grandson Todd Drake.
He was a railroad engineer and was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Lenore; his children, Ed Pridemore of Foster and his daughter Tonya Jackson and his granddaughters, Skyler Jackson and Arleyann Jackson all of Reidville, NC, Robert Pridemore of Olympia, WA and his sons, Daniel and Steven Pridemore, and his daughter Sarah Pridemore all of Lacy, WA, Sandi Stevens and her daughter, Molly Stevens and her son, Matt Stevens all of St. Charles, IL, Diane Pridemore of Sherman, TX and her daughter, Jessica Kinsey and her granddaughter Gianna Olandese, daughter Rebecca Dunegan and granddaughter Saleen Dunegan all of Duran, OK; Connie Ashton and her two sons, Justin and Tyler Ashton all of Elgin, IL; granddaughter (Jimmy's daughter) Brittany Straugh of Genoa, IL; and one sister, Mavis. He is also survived by stepchildren, Angela and David, Dorothy Muhammed (Abdul), Mark and (Sherrie), North and (Kathy), and Lillian; six step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 16 at Spencer Chapel at Hewett, WV with David Cook and Clinton Craddock officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
