Willa Faye Fry

     Willa Faye Fry, 103, of Wayne, WV daughter of the late Barney and Emma Jane Clay Sanders, was born on September 20, 1920 went to her Eternal rest with her Lord Saturday December 9, 2023 in Ashland, Ky.  In addition to her parents Willa was preceded in death by her husband Lucian Fry, son Larry Marcum, sister Lilly Mae Fortner brothers Wetzel and Howard Sanders. 

      In her early life Willa worked for Dr. Kirk David and Dr. Moral in Huntington, WV.  She loved working in her vegetable and flower garden making arrangements and crafts. Willa had a flair for cooking and especially baking.

     She is survived by her daughter-in-law Vivian Marcum; grandchildren, Susie Handley, Christopher George Marcum (Melinda); great grandchildren, Christopher Lee Marcum and Kristen Handley; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  She will be missed.

     Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday December 15, 2023 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV.  The burial will follow in the Sanders Cemetery, Branchland, WV.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
