Willard Mason Wood, 81, of Danville passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was born August 10, 1933 and was a son of the late Virgil and Georgia Miller Wood.
He was a retired brick mason. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Delta Pritchard; children, Jerry W. Barker of Athens, Ohio, Kathy Taylor of Sydney, Ohio, Marilynn Hatfield of Powell Creek and Lonnie Wood of Morrisvale; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Isabelle McClure of Beckley.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 26 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Jack Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
