William Ronald Berry

William Ronald Berry, 72, of Danville passed away April 29, 2016. He was the son of Vennie Berry; grandson of William and Myrtle Berry; and also preceded in death by his wife, Eula Berry.
He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Dotson of Danville and Ronnie Sue Dotson of Lewisburg; sister, Patty Thebarge of Virginia and brother, Curtis Wayne Swisher also of Virginia; and two grandchildren, Ashley Dolin of Danville and Steven Kirby of Lewisburg.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with John Harden and Tony Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Stanley Cemetery, Mud River with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, West Virginia.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
