William L. "Bill" Cook

William L. Cook “Bill”, age 83, of Danville, WV passed away January 28, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his father J.H. Cook and mother Amy Echols Cook; brother Johnny (Eleanor) Cook; sister Mary Ann (Bob) DeLoach; and son William L. Cook, Jr.

He served in the United States Air Force and worked many years in Danville, WV as the store manager of Hecks and Magic Mart.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, patsy cook; son Michael Cook; grandson, Michael (Shayna) Cook, Jr.; and two great grandsons, Myles and Mala Kye Cook.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with the Rev. Roger McCauley and Harold Ray Ball officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Cook, Donny Nelson, Tim Turner, Keith Ballard, Lee Miller and David Cook.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
